Yoga in Kent – classes at Sutton-At-Hone and West Kingsdown, conveniently located for Dartford, Swanley, Hawley and Farningham. Get fitter, relax and de-stress – in 1 class!

Tuesday evenings: 7.30 to 9pm 
Wednesday evenings: 7.30 to 9pm
Tuesday mornings: 10.00 to 11.30am

Mercure Leisure Centre, Mercure Hotel, Brands Hatch, West Kingsdown DA3 8PE

Friday mornings: 11.00am to 12.30pm
(Please note that this class MUST be booked directly with the Leisure Centre on telephone number 01474 119898 and is open to non-members at a cost of £7.50)

Class structure:
The class always starts with a warm-up before moving onto perform the postures. Most classes include strength, flexibility and mobility exercises that are suitable to prepare the body for the deeper yoga postures and flowing sequences of postures. Breath work is included throughout the class building respiratory efficiency and endurance and specifically towards the end of each session to teach exercises that calm and de-stress. The class always ends with Relaxation.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it is no longer possible for me to loan mats and equipment in classes.

What to wear and bring:
Wear loose fitting and/ or stretchy clothing such as T-shirt and tracksuit trousers or leggings. Bring socks, a jumper or warm top and a blanket for relaxation. It is advisable to have some water with you to keep yourself hydrated throughout class. Please be aware that Yoga is practiced in bare feet or special yoga socks.
